UC Merced Graphics Lab

The Computer Graphics Lab of the School of Engineering of UC Merced was established in 2006 to pursue novel interdisciplinary research in Interactive Computer Graphics. Our current research topics are focused on humanlike intelligent motion planning and synthesis for interactive graphical simulations.

We are affiliated with the following graduate groups:
EECS, ME, Applied Math, and Cognitive Science.

Motion Planning and Autonomy for Virtual Humans at SIGGRAPH 2008

Our class submission has been accepted at SIGGRAPH! The class is being organized by Julien Pettré, Marcelo Kallmann, Ming Lin, James Kuffner, Michael Gleicher, Claudia Esteves, and Jean-Paul Laumond.

Motion Capture Lab

We have just installed mocap cameras as part of the Cognitive Sensorium and Visualization project (for more info, see our news page).
