Capstone design project to build a solar tracker. The assignment was to build a two axis solar tracker that could support 20lbs and I had the crazy idea to build one that could support a 300lb satellite dish and could instantly burst a 2x4 into a ball of fire.. additionally it could boil water but that just doesnt sound as cool as an exploding ball of fire.

My next door neighbor was nice enough to give us the sattelite dish that she no longer used so the first challenge was to get it down. So we have a 300lb dish 30 feet up in the air and me dangling by a rope.. what could possibly go wrong. But hey we are engineers with pulleys so no problemo.
